Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Mrs. Rodriguez graduated from the Florida State University College of Law. While in law school, Mrs. Rodriguez served as an Executive Board member of the Florida State University College of Law’s Federalist Society for three years. Mrs. Rodriguez also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Florida State University College of Law’s Juris Master program in the course Regulatory Compliance for six semesters focusing on policy drafting and workplace compliance.

During law school, Mrs. Rodriguez clerked at two law firms in Tallahassee focusing on civil litigation, externed with the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General Corps, and externed in the chambers of Chief Justice Carlos Muñiz at the Florida Supreme Court. During her time at the Florida Supreme Court, Mrs. Rodriguez primarily was tasked with drafting jurisdictional memoranda evaluating whether cases could be reviewed by the Court. During her final year of law school, Mrs. Rodriguez was invited to compete for the Florida State University College of Law’s Moot Court Team. Mrs. Rodriguez made arguments related to the Constitutional rights of criminal suspects at the UCLA Cybersecurity Moot Court Competition. Mrs. Rodriguez clerked here, at the Arnold Law Firm throughout her final year in law school before taking the Florida bar exam.

Mrs. Rodriguez is an alumni member of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court, and holds active memberships in the Federalist Society, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Military Spouse J.D. Network, an organization advocating for military spouses in the legal profession. Mrs. Rodriguez began volunteering for the Guardian Ad Litem Foundation of Florida’s First Coast while in law school . As a volunteer child advocate Mrs. Rodriguez makes regular recommendations to the Court regarding the child’s interests. Mrs. Rodriguez is also a Certified Educational Surrogate, which allows her to make educational decisions for children in the dependency system such as handling their Section 504 plans or Individualized Education Plans.

Prior to law school, Mrs. Rodriguez attended the University of Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While pursuing her undergraduate studies and prior to attending law school Mrs. Rodriguez actively worked in political campaigning and legislative advocacy. Mrs. Rodriguez was employed as campaign staff for a Florida State Senate race, a Field Director for a Florida Constitutional Amendment Campaign, and a Deputy Campaign Manager for a United States Congressional race. Mrs. Rodriguez also interned at the District offices of a State Senator and a U.S. Congressman. Mrs. Rodriguez was primarily responsible for generating fundraising leads, managing large groups of interns, recruiting staff, planning and executing events, analyzing legislative proposals, and helping constituents navigate the law and government programs.

Mrs. Rodriguez met her Husband Chase while they both attended the University of Florida. Chase serves as a Flight Officer for the P-8 Poseidon in the United States Navy. They enjoy cooking, going to the gym together, and spending time with their dogs Bubba, Barbara, and Franklin.
